  3. I was interested in your question number 17. That is something I tend to ask myself. It doesn't really make sense for the poorer people to not vote. I would have guessed that they actually voted the most, so I was surprised when I found out they don't. You would think they would want to have a say in the government workings. Poorer people have worse living conditions and often are the ones unemployed. Wouldn't they want to change things? How do you think they can get more involved? What will it take to boost their motivation to vote?

I also like your last question. The breakdown of political leaders in our country are very similar. Most are white, men, educated, and wealthy. What would the effects be if more minority figures played a key role in politics? It seems almost as if they all have the same look and to go with it, the same ideas. Maybe minorities are afraid to be involved due to how much controversy there was over having a back president.

  4. 8. I don't think there needs to be a more civil way to deport immigrants. I have nothing against immigrants who come into this country LEGALLY who follow our laws and become good productive citizens. But, these are criminals were talking about. We should treat them the same way we would treat criminals in our country. If we had harsher penalties, illegal immigrants would be more reluctant to finagle their way into the United States.

    15. I like this question; I don't think colleges having to meet diversity quotas is fair. Colleges should look at your grades/test scores/etc.I don't think your race should hurt or help you, because it supposed to be about the work you've done. This can also lead to reverse discrimination against college applicants.
